Frequently asked questions
Why does Shot7x need camera access?＋
The camera permission powers the live viewfinder and photo/video capture. Without it, the camera cannot start.
Why is microphone access requested?＋
Only video recording with sound needs the microphone. Still photos do not.
A photo or video did not save. What should I check?＋
Open iOS Settings → Shot7x → Photos and allow access, confirm there is free device storage, then reopen Shot7x.
Why is 48 MP not shown on every camera?＋
Maximum resolution is offered only when the active iPhone camera and capture format support it. Front and ultra-wide cameras commonly use lower native dimensions.
Why did my video format change?＋
Shot7x only presents combinations supported by the active camera. iOS may also reduce available modes during thermal pressure or on a different lens.
How do I change the language?＋
Open Shot7x Settings → Language. English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, French and German are available.
